Michael Angelo A. Cortez aka as Cortez Sensei is a Professor of Accountancy at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Beppu, Oita, Japan. He teaches accounting and business research to undergrad and graduate students.

Farmer Mike at Villa Alvero
On my free time, you can find me in my residence at Villa Alvero Farm in San Pablo, Laguna. We grow hydrophonic lettuce and other vegetable varieties.
Education against poverty
Over the past year, my Alvero family have adopted schools from impoverished areas of the Philippines and provided support in the form of gadgets and technology enabled learning systems and some incentives for best performing learners. The on-going projects include an honor roll incentive and school supplies for Libongao Elementary School.
